This sounds delicious! And it is a nice looking blog. I wanted to point out a spelling error, could cause someone trouble. You said "Cook completely for one hour" when you must mean "cooL". Thanks for sharing!

I love the idea of cake stars, Sophie! I need to go get star shaped cookie cutters now. Adorable! And that cake looks so moist. You are such a talented GF baker. :)

Sophie, I hope you and your husband had a great 4th. Wow, what I wouldn't give for a slice of this gorgeous and very appealing cake. You decorated it beautifully with the berries and the perfect stars. I love it!

Wow, is that cake ever gorgeous! I'm jealous of whoever got to eat it. I want to use apricots in something, but I always forget. Good job.

Sophie, I hope Independence Day was as wonderful for you as your beautiful and patriotic cake! And I hope you saved us a bite or two.
I was out of town on the 4th, 5th, 6th, nearly the first half of the month, so my oven also got a little time off for good behavior. But the party's over, and I'm in the mood to bake.

But first, I'm off to ogle the goodies you've been busy creating.
